The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kleva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson tries to clinch but Kleva moves out of range.

Kleva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kleva closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.

Kleva shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Kleva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kleva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kleva lands with a nice combination. Johnson backs away looking to recover.
Flash Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Kleva pushes him off.

Kleva shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Kleva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kleva finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head.
