Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown forces Martinez back against the cage and clinches.
Martinez can't get the takedown.
Martinez lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Brown has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Martinez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Martinez stalks Brown and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brown's face. Brown staggers backwards, shaken.

Martinez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brown is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Martinez has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

Brown wants to take a breather but Martinez is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Hector Martinez will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Martinez feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down.
Brown is looking to clinch but Martinez is avoiding it.
Brown wants to clinch.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martinez tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martinez to the ground. Martinez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martinez's waist but Martinez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.

Martinez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Brown should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Martinez's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brown cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
