The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Yevon Rook's guard.
Yevon Rook is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Yevon Rook's temple.
Johnson is looking for a kimura but Yevon Rook is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johnson to get the leverage.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yevon Rook looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Johnson is working to tighten is grip on Yevon Rook's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Yevon Rook has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Johnson is really squeezing tight and eventually Yevon Rook passes out! Johnson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
