Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mauricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Night misses with a double jab
and Rua counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rua.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rua pushes down on Night 's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Rua is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Night doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rua.
Rua is working for a kimura but Night is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rua trying to pass the guard but Night defending well.
Rua passes to full mount!
Rua working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Rua looking to control but Night is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Night wants to try and get back to his feet.
Night is breathing heavily.
Rua wants to finish this one by submission but Night is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rua.

Rua jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Night manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Night wants to get back to his feet.
Rua in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Night is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
