Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Lonzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Lonzo.
Rick Lonzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lonzo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lonzo moves into range and clinches up with Araujo.
Araujo breaks from the clinch.
Lonzo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lonzo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lonzo misses with a hook. Araujo ducked under it nicely.

Araujo gets tackled into the cage by Lonzo. Lonzo maintains the clinch.
Araujo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lonzo or not.

Lonzo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Araujo is trying to defend but Lonzo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lonzo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Araujo tries to avoid it but Lonzo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Araujo to the ground. Araujo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lonzo tries to clinch but Araujo moves out of range.
Araujo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lonzo eats them both and turns towards Araujo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Araujo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lonzo shoots in but Araujo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rickson Araujo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Araujo connects with a looping right hand.
Lonzo tries to close the distance and clinch but Araujo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lonzo has closed the distance and engaged Araujo in a clinch.
Araujo gets through Lonzo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Araujo.
Araujo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lonzo throws out a loose jab but Araujo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lonzo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Araujo finds it's way round the side to connect with Lonzo's head.
Araujo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lonzo if he has to take too many more of those.

Lonzo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Araujo avoids it really well and circles away.
Lonzo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Araujo.

Araujo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Araujo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lonzo. That did some damage!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lonzo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Araujo can pounce on him.
Lonzo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Araujo feints and then cracks Lonzo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lonzo down.

Nice uppercut lands for Araujo. That snapped Lonzo's head back.

No joy there for Lonzo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rick Lonzo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lonzo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Araujo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lonzo somewhat.
