Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior throws a right and a left that Carlo avoids nicely.
Carlo moves out of range as Junior strikes.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Junior!
It looks like Jim Carlo has been cut.
Junior looks to land a right hand but Carlo moved out of range.
A big left from Junior misses.
Junior displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Carlo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Junior did well to prevent Carlo getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Carlo is working for a submission of some sort.

Carlo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Junior does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Carlo is looking for a kimura but Junior is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carlo to get the leverage.
Carlo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Junior tries to kick Carlo off but Carlo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Carlo works his way into full mount!
Junior has left one of his arms exposed and Carlo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Junior screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
