Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blade Toorop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alasdair MundyJones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Toorop might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rasputin. MundyJones has chosen luv it as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alasdair MundyJones!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MundyJones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Toorop moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
MundyJones loads up on a big right hand but Toorop slips the punch.
Toorop scores with a hook to the body. MundyJones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Toorop avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
MundyJones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Toorop uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from MundyJones.
Some wild striking there from Toorop.
A swing and a miss from MundyJones.

MundyJones darts in and clinches Toorop up against the cage.

MundyJones breaks from the clinch.

MundyJones gets caught napping as Toorop dives in and scores a takedown. MundyJones manages to retain guard.
Toorop slips nicely into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

MundyJones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toorop. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Toorop is keen to just control but MundyJones is a slippery customer.
Toorop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Toorop is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
MundyJones tries to kick Toorop off but Toorop keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Toorop moves nicely into side control.
Toorop misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Toorop looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
MundyJones is trying to get back to his feet.
MundyJones looks gassed!

Toorop is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! MundyJones is forced to tap! Great finish!

A determined Blade Toorop didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
