Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweedly avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tweedly fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A jab from Hudson does it's job there.
Hudson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Tweedly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hudson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hudson lunges at Tweedly with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tweedly's hand.
Tweedly shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hudson sprawls well. Hudson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tweedly gets slowly back to his feet.
Hudson scores with a jab. Tweedly acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tweedly shoots in looking for a takedown but Hudson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tweedly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Garrett Hudson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Tweedly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hudson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Hudson feints with a jab and clips Tweedly right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Tweedly is sent crashing into the canvas and Hudson leaps in for the kill! Tweedly tries to get to his feet but Hudson is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Tweedly is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Garrett Hudson!
Our winner, Garrett Hudson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
