Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasil Toshev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dusty Rhodes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toshev moves to clinch but Rhodes breaks away
and Rhodes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Toshev tries to clinch there but Rhodes circles away.
Toshev tries to clinch up.
Rhodes shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Toshev wants to get back to his feet.
Rhodes thows a huge punch but Toshev dodges it nicely.
Rhodes is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Toshev reverses the position - he's now on top in Rhodes's guard.
Rhodes wants to sweep but no luck.

Rhodes could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rhodes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rhodes tries to get out of the position.
Rhodes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Rhodes tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Toshev drops back looking for a leg! Rhodes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rhodes manages to kick Toshev off! Toshev jumps back into Rhodes's guard.

Toshev wants to control from the top but Rhodes keeps moving.

Rhodes wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Toshev wants to clinch.
A jab from Rhodes misses.
Toshev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rhodes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sloppy strikes from Toshev. Those never looked like landing.

Toshev wants to clinch.

Toshev misses with a wild body shot.
Rhodes looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Rhodes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Toshev on the ground.
Toshev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rhodes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Toshev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rhodes is one step ahead there.
Toshev manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Toshev wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Toshev clinches with his opponent.
Rhodes blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rhodes is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Toshev gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Toshev misses with an elbow over the top.
Toshev tries to break free but Rhodes pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Toshev struggles to land a body shot inside as Rhodes controls his hands.
Rhodes avoids the elbow strike from Toshev, against the cage.
Rhodes blocks a punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dusty Rhodes will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
Rhodes shoots in looking for a takedown but Toshev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rhodes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Toshev tries to clinch there but Rhodes circles away.
Vasil Toshev is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Toshev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Toshev moves in looking to clinch but Rhodes pushes him off.
Toshev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rhodes sprawls well. Rhodes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Toshev gets slowly back to his feet.

and Rhodes counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rhodes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Toshev was covering up waiting for the punch and Rhodes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rhodes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Toshev wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rhodes content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
It looks like Vasil Toshev has been cut.
Dusty Rhodes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Rhodes lands a couple of elbows.
Toshev not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rhodes scoring with some ground and pound.

Toshev is breathing heavily.
Rhodes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rhodes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Toshev's head.
Toshev is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rhodes postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Toshev covers up, he's hurt! Rhodes keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Rhodes and the ref steps in to end the fight! Rhodes can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dusty Rhodes!
