Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrell Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrell Hayes struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn looking to score a takedown here. Hayes is defending well but Gunn drives through and ends up in Hayes's guard.
Gunn tries to free his leg and advance position but Hayes is retaining full guard.
Gunn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hayes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gunn, into his guard.
Hayes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gunn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hayes has managed to get both his arms back between Gunn's legs - danger averted.
