The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner swinging wilding here.
Tanner throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Tanner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tanner counters with a two punch combo.
Tanner misses with a lunging right hand
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
Tanner misses the shot to the body.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jones counters with a right hand that sends Tanner tumbling to the canvas! Can Jones finish him? He dives into Tanner's guard looking to do just that!
Tanner is rocked!
Tanner wants to control but Jones passes easily into half guard.
Oh Tanner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Tanner to get to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Tanner falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
