Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donny Duckovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Conger! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duckovski tries for a takedown but Conger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Duckovski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Duckovski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Conger as he avoids it easily. Conger gets the takedown into side control. Conger wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Duckovski, who protects the arm well. Conger advances to mount. Conger is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Duckovski has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Duckovski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Conger goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Duckovski is on top in guard.
Conger wants to sweep but no luck. Duckovski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Conger drops back looking for a leg! Duckovski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Duckovski manages to kick Conger off! Conger jumps back into Duckovski's guard. Conger slips nicely into half guard. Conger is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Conger is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Conger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Duckovski is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Conger has hold of Duckovski's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Duckovski manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conger jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Duckovski is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Duckovski and Conger has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Conger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
