Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Villi Kotobalavu!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotobalavu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kotobalavu throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Kotobalavu blocks a head kick by Smith.
Kotobalavu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kotobalavu moves into the clinch.
Smith looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Smith wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kotobalavu has him pressed against the ropes.
Kotobalavu has had enough of the clinch but Smith keeps him there for the moment.
Smith lands an uppercut.
Smith is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Kotobalavu keeps control of Smith as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kotobalavu breaks from the clinch.
Kotobalavu throws a combination. Smith tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith drops his hands momentarily and Kotobalavu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Smith is rocked!
Smith swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kotobalavu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kotobalavu explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kotobalavu lands with a big left! Smith is wobbled badly! Kotobalavu comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Smith to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Villi Kotobalavu!
