Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Talib Kweli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kweli comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - Hit em up . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Talib Kweli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vlad Tepes! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kweli thows a body shot but no joy. Kweli scores a takedown into full mount! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Tepes looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Tepes is in bad spot here.
Kweli looking for the choke from the back. Kweli trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Kweli is really struggling to control Tepes but he's trying to hold on to the position. Tepes rolls, trying to escape but Kweli keeps control of the position.
What can Tepes do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Tepes is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Kweli off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Kweli wants to control but Tepes is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kweli has the hooks in. Tepes is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Tepes looking very determined here, making life difficult for Kweli.
Kweli looking for the choke from the back. Tepes covering up well under a series of strikes from Kweli. Kweli somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kweli misses with a punch to the head. Tepes tries to break free.
Tepes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kweli biding his time, controlling Tepes. Kweli trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Even with his hooks in, Kweli manages to miss with strikes from the back. Tepes is really stuck here.

Kweli gets his hands free as Tepes looks to control. Tepes prevents Kweli from getting a body triangle. Kweli doesn't have the hooks in and Tepes manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kweli lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tepes! Kweli lands a nice shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kweli sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tepes is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kweli is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tepes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tepes shrugs it off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tepes holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kweli tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kweli trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Talib Kweli dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kweli throws a shot to the body.
Kweli lands a slapping body shot.
Kweli dips to his left and cracks Tepes with an uppercut! Tepes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tepes fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tepes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nice body punch from Kweli - that landed with a thud.
Kweli tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tepes's elbow. Kweli slows down the pace here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tepes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kweli gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Talib Kweli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Tepes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tepes has Kweli pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kweli manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Tepes tries for a takedown but Kweli manages to get underhooks.
Kweli is trying to break the clinch but Tepes has him pressed against the cage. Tepes has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kweli avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tepes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kweli gets underhooks to prevent Tepes's takedown attempt.
Tepes is breathing heavily. Tepes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kweli pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kweli breaks from the clinch.
Tepes fails with the takedown and Kweli counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kweli cracks Tepes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Tepes has his takedown stuffed and Kweli counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kweli scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tepes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kweli scores with a jab to the head.
Tepes is rocked! Tepes misses with a few strikes there.
Tepes is still on wobbly legs! Can Kweli finish him? Kweli is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Tepes flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Tepes is out cold! Kweli holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Talib Kweli!
