Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between New York Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wu Tang - Triumph. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, New York Strangler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashad Jackson! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strangler fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Strangler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson counters with a right hand to the body. Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jackson controlling the action here. Jackson prevents Strangler from improving his position. Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Strangler avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jackson. Strangler is trying to maintain the position but Jackson is very close to passing his half guard. Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strangler is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold. Strangler is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson lands a heavy elbow. Jackson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Strangler's face.
Jackson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jackson raining down shots from the mount! Strangler is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rashad Jackson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jackson looks to land a combination but Strangler avoids it well. Strangler tries a head kick but it misses.
Strangler takes one to the chin there. Strangler is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Strangler backs up against the cage.
Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Strangler shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jackson controls Strangler momentarily but Strangler frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson pulls Strangler in close to his closed guard and prevents Strangler from doing any damage or advancing position. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Strangler from controlling successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Strangler wants to hold on but Jackson pushes him away. Strangler is looking to get to half guard. Jackson tries to control but Strangler wriggling away. Rashad Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far. A nice elbow there by Jackson. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Strangler is desperately trying to improve his position but Jackson has a good base and remains in mount. Strangler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jackson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Strangler looks a forlorn figure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson breaks from Strangler's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Strangler is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Strangler in real trouble here! The ref calls for Strangler to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rashad Jackson! After the fight, Rashad Jackson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
