Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mitsuyo Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bongo Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bass comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad Man by Skillinjah kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bass is looking to control Maeda's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bass avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
