Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Tzvika Furman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Marquis DeSade! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Furman tries to clinch but DeSade is having none of it. Furman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Furman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. DeSade has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. DeSade looking for a sweep. Not yet DeSade, not yet. Furman with a flurry of punches that miss. DeSade controls Furman momentarily but Furman frees himself. Furman trying to stand up but can't free himself from DeSade's guard. DeSade trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DeSade is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. DeSade breaks the clinch.

DeSade blocks a low kick nicely. Furman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeSade pinned against the cage. DeSade gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. DeSade drives through and clinches with Furman against the cage.

We're back to striking at a distance. DeSade moves in looking to clinch but Furman pushes him off. Furman shoots in for a double leg but DeSade sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tzvika Furman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Furman wants to clinch and DeSade counters with a nice low kick that buckles Furman's knee momentarily. Furman fails with the takedown and DeSade counters with a single leg into guard. Furman didn't expect that. DeSade stays in close to Furman's body and controls the position. Furman wants to stand up but DeSade is controlling him.

DeSade stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Furman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Furman looking to control.
Furman wants to stand up but DeSade is controlling him. DeSade is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Furman seems keen to control DeSade's posture.

Furman kicks DeSade off and gets to his feet. DeSade bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Marquis DeSade dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

DeSade throws a nice inside leg kick. Furman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from DeSade. DeSade tries to close the distance and clinch up but Furman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Furman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and DeSade counters with a lovely straight right hand! A slapping leg kick lands for DeSade.
Furman with a lazy takedown attempt and DeSade counters with a good low kick that Furman was not able to check. Tzvika Furman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DeSade gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Furman is trying to stall.

Furman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Furman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Furman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Furman drives through with a takedown into guard. DeSade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Furman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. DeSade bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Furman's guard. DeSade scoring with some ground and pound. Furman seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is DeSade paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! DeSade's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Furman picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
