PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kid Soplamocos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soplamocos comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger!!!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soplamocos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cullen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Soplamocos wants to pass the guard but Cullen is keeping the position.

Cullen tries to get to full guard but Soplamocos has control of the leg.
Soplamocos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cullen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Soplamocos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cullen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
