Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Garcia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Harrison!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison with a jab.
Garcia throws out a loose jab but Harrison uses good head movement to avoid it.
Harrison thows a body shot but no joy.
Garcia slips a jab and a cross from Harrison.
Harrison plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Harrison misses with a double jab.
Harrison misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Garcia.
Harrison lands with an overhand left.
Harrison needs to keep his hands up - Garcia had a free shot at his head there.
Harrison connects with a body shot.
Harrison swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Garcia connects with a looping right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harrison throws a body punch but Garcia moves out of range.
Harrison tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Garcia swivels and escapes.
Harrison ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Harrison uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Garcia.

The fighters circle momentarily. Garcia darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Harrison throws a sloppy body shot
and Garcia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Garcia cracks Harrison with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Garcia throws a hook to the side of Harrison's head but Harrison sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Garcia catches Harrison with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed right hand from Garcia misses the target.
Harrison tests Garcia's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Harrison pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Garcia back to the cage. Harrison follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Harrison is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Garcia rather than just go for the knockout.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Harrison!
Garcia misses with a hook.

and Harrison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Harrison throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Garcia is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Garcia throws a big shot that misses.
Harrison throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Harrison looks to land a body kick but Garcia moved away.
Garcia missing with a left hand there. Harrison was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Harrison scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Harrison is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Garcia takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The fighters circling - Harrison throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Harrison shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Garcia's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Harrison trying to control but Garcia is working from the bottom.
Harrison throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Garcia works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Garcia keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mark Harrison was stalling too much, according to the referee.
A big right from Harrison misses.
Harrison walks into a straight right hand from Garcia.
Garcia doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mark Harrison will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Harrison tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garcia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harrison somewhat.
Frank Garcia is winning the standup battle so far.
Harrison blocks a jab.
Harrison avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Garcia avoids the head kick by Harrison.
Harrison takes a swing at Garcia's ribcage but misses.
Garcia throws a looping overhand right but Harrison ducks down to avoid it.
Harrison throws a jab when Garcia was well out of range.
Harrison connects with a crisp jab.
Harrison checks a low kick from Garcia.

Harrison clinches up against the cage.
Harrison tries a body shot but Garcia blocks it.
Garcia wants to break the clinch but can't.
Harrison pushes Garcia back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Harrison keeps control of Garcia as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Garcia wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Harrison has him pressed against the cage.
Harrison lands a left hand.
A right hook to the body lands for Garcia.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Harrison.
Harrison taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Harrison lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Harrison missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Garcia is looking to control Harrison's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Garcia avoid being mounted?

Harrison seems to be looking for submissions.
Harrison has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harrison with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Harrison trying to control but Garcia is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harrison has hold of Garcia's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Garcia manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Garcia holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Harrison tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Harrison is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Garcia is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Garcia flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Harrison anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Garcia and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Harrison slips an arm under Garcia chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Harrison has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Harrison is squeezing on Garcia like an anaconda would it's prey. Garcia fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mark Harrison!
