Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafael dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Whissell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dos Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger. Whissell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rose Of Sharon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Santos stalks Whissell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Whissell's face. Whissell staggers backwards, shaken.
dos Santos is trying hard to land a takedown here. Whissell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

dos Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Whissell tries to avoid it but dos Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Whissell to the ground. Whissell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

dos Santos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Whissell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for dos Santos.
