Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and I Duddits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I Duddits has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rex Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, I Duddits!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris tries to clinch there but Duddits circles away.
Duddits misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Duddits lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
I Duddits seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harris is trying hard to land a takedown here. Duddits sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Harris dives in and grabs Duddits's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duddits pushes down on Harris's head and hops out.

Duddits throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harris was covering up waiting for the punch and Duddits finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Harris has his foot on Duddits's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duddits works his way back into a safe position though.

Duddits would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Harris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Duddits defends well.
Duddits must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Harris not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Duddits wants to stand but Harris has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Duddits is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Duddits really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Duddits pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Harris back to the cage. Duddits follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duddits moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Duddits uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harris has time to react.
Harris misses with a takedown attempt - Duddits sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Harris postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duddits is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harris, into his guard.

Harris has Duddits pressed against the cage, preventing Duddits from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Harris gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Duddits.
Duddits has Harris pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Harris manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Duddits wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Harris has him pressed against the cage.

Duddits goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Duddits has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Duddits tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Duddits somewhat.

I Duddits showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Duddits throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Harris takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Duddits has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Harris is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

I Duddits is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Duddits manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Duddits lands a nice shot that snaps Harris's head back.
Rex Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I Duddits comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Duddits has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
