Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Planck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Omar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Planck's entrance music is Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Reenactment. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planck throws a hook but Omar blocks it.
Omar shoots and misses
and Planck counters with a straight right hand.
Sloppy strikes from Planck. Those never looked like landing.
Omar dodges the punch combination from Planck.
Omar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Planck as he jumps to the side.
Planck misses with a few strikes there.
Planck throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Planck misses with a hook. Omar ducked under it nicely.
Planck lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Planck misses with an uppercut. Omar saw that one coming.

Omar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Planck throws out the jab.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Omar is trying to control. Planck wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Planck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Omar seems to be looking for submissions.

Planck is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Omar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Omar's back!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Planck thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Planck connects with a big shot to the side of Omar's head.
Planck is looking to control Omar but Omar is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Omar looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Omar is taking damage to the body and head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Planck dominated that round.
That's time! Planck's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Planck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Omar with a lazy takedown attempt
and Planck makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Planck lands a body shot.
Planck swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Omar fails with the takedown
and Planck counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Omar walks into a jab.
Omar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Planck lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Planck.
Planck digs a good body shot into Omar's ribs.

A jab from Planck finds it's way through Omar's defenses.
Omar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Planck was covering up waiting for the punch and Omar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Planck will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Omar wants to pass the guard but Planck is keeping the position.
Planck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Omar on the ground.
Omar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Omar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Planck on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Planck tries to get out of the position.
Planck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Planck manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Omar tries to hold on but Planck postures up.
Planck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Planck has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Omar's face.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Planck is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Omar can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Planck cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Omar is rocked!
Planck lands a big shot to the head and Omar winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Max Planck!
