The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robbins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zillian on his heels. He'll look to pass Zillian's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Robbins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Zillian pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Robbins back to the cage. Zillian follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Robbins shoots in and bounces Zillian off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robbins shoots in looking for a takedown. Zillian tries to sprawl out of it but Robbins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zillian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Zillian stalks Robbins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Robbins's face. Robbins staggers backwards, shaken.
Bruce Zillian is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Zillian throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Robbins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Robbins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Zillian enables Robbins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zillian manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Robbins works to advance to full mount. Zillian defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Zillian really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robbins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Robbins loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Zillian scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Robbins land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Robbins stands and salutes the crowd.
