The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jakson has a takedown stuffed.

Jakson shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jakson moves away from the strike by Silva.
Silva stalks Jakson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jakson's face. Jakson staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva missing with a left hand there. Jakson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Jakson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva misses with a looping left.
Silva moves into range and connects with a jab.
Horrible takedown by Jakson or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Jakson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
