Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Al Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Henson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henson has chosen A Warrior's Call by Volbeat as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bundy under the eye.

Henson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bundy is trying to defend but Henson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Henson misses with a head shot. Bundy uses the momentum to regain guard.

Bundy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bundy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Henson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bundy is working away from the top position though.

Henson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bundy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bundy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Henson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bundy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henson tries to avoid it but Bundy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henson to the ground. Henson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Henson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bundy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Henson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Henson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bundy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Henson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Henson is defended easily by Bundy.
Al Bundy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey Henson.
Henson cracks Bundy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Henson shoots in looking for a takedown but Bundy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Henson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bundy drops his hands for a split second and Henson immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Bundy face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Henson follows up with a right hand that knocks Bundy into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
