Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cal Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cal Collins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamie Daniel! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Daniel as Collins shoots in. Daniel looks to land a combination but Collins avoids it well. Daniel scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Cal Collins has been cut. Donk. Daniel catches Collins right on the button with a cross. Daniel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Collins is fending him off so far but Daniel persists. Nope, Collins circles away and we're back to standing. Daniel keeps the fight on the outside. Daniel throws a right and a left that both miss. Collins connects with a solid leg kick. Daniel scores with a punch to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Daniel digs a good hook to Collins's body.
Jamie Daniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Collins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Daniel.
Daniel shoots for a double leg takedown but Collins sprawls well. He's pushed Daniel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Collins wants to clinch. Daniel fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Collins to the ground. Daniel is now in Collins's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Collins will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daniel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daniel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Daniel wants to stand but Collins has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Collins throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Daniel prevents the takedown attempt.

Jamie Daniel dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cal Collins's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Collins slaps away a takedown attempt from Daniel, before circling back to the center of the mat. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Daniel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Daniel swinging wildly here.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Collins. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Collins tries to pull guard but Daniel won't allow it.

Collins tries to buck Daniel off but Daniel is having none of it. Collins manages to work his way to half guard, despite Daniel's best efforts. Daniel decides to stand and escape the position. Daniel scores with the left hand. Collins knows he should have avoided that one. Collins wants to clinch. Daniel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Collins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Collins shoots in but Daniel avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Daniel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Daniel seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Jamie Daniel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Cal Collins's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Collins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Collins's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Daniel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Collins scrambles back to his feet. Collins misses with a kick to the body.

Collins is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Daniel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Oh Collins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Daniel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Collins's guard. Collins looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Daniel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Daniel feints and as Collins raises his hands in defense, Daniel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Collins is looking for a triangle but Daniel pushes his legs off easily.
Collins is trying to control the position but Daniel postures up. Collins seems to have got his legs back now. Daniel wanted to stand there but Collins had control of the position. Daniel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Collins looking to control.

And that's the end of the fight! Jamie Daniel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Daniel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
