Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Shoylen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Starrkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Derek Starrkey was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoylen throws a sloppy head kick and Starrkey moves out of range easily.
Shoylen blocks the body kick.

Shoylen has closed the distance and engaged Starrkey in a clinch.

Starrkey manages to break the clinch.
Shoylen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shoylen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Starrkey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shoylen pinned against the cage. Shoylen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
