Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leon Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuki Nakai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leon Kennedy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leon Kennedy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Nakai! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakai lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Nakai decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nakai not doing much here.
Let's hope that Nakai has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Nakai is thwarting Kennedy's attempts to control the position. Nakai is looking for a kimura here.
Well, if Nakai is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakai wants to pass the guard but Kennedy is defending well. Kennedy is trying to maintain the position but Nakai is very close to passing his half guard. Kennedy is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nakai lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kennedy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakai closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nakai content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kennedy wants to improve his position but Nakai is controlling well.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kennedy is looking to improve his position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Yuki Nakai hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kennedy misses with a series of wild punches.
Nakai rushes Kennedy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kennedy is trying to break the clinch but Nakai is controlling him. Nakai lands a takedown into guard.
Kennedy being controlled here, momentarily. Kennedy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kennedy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kennedy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakai stays in close to Kennedy's body and controls the position. Kennedy trying to keep a closed guard but Nakai is proving a slippery customer.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick misses from Nakai. Kennedy with a jab. A big left from Kennedy misses. Nakai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kennedy dips to his left and cracks Nakai with an uppercut! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nakai throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kennedy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nakai is in Kennedy's guard. Nakai tries to free his leg and advance position but Kennedy is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuki Nakai dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kennedy throws a shot from downtown. Nakai moves away and avoids it. Kennedy gets caught flat footed, as Nakai shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kennedy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Nakai puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Nakai is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Nakai looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kennedy is squirming around, avoiding Nakai's attempts to control the action. Nakai looking to ground and pound but Kennedy is blocking nicely. Kennedy tries to hold on but Nakai pushes him away. Nakai controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakai working for a submission but Kennedy is keeping him at bay. Nakai throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Kennedy is in all sorts of trouble here.
Nakai goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kennedy turns into him and now he's in Nakai's guard.
Nakai tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nakai pulls Kennedy in close to his closed guard and prevents Kennedy from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kennedy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Nakai is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kennedy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nakai is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nakai is controlling Kennedy's posture.
Yuki Nakai has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nakai with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kennedy to score with a decent uppercut. Nakai lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kennedy's sensitive parts. Leon Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nakai slips under a jab from Kennedy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kennedy throws a series of punches but Nakai moves out of range. Kennedy lands an overhand right. Nakai throws a jab when Kennedy was well out of range. Kennedy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kennedy throws a right hand that Nakai ducks under and follows up with a left that Nakai also avoids with ease. Kennedy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nakai throws out the jab. Kennedy checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kennedy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kennedy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Some wild striking there from Kennedy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakai shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nakai is looking for a kimura but Kennedy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nakai to get the leverage. Nakai missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kennedy wants to control but Nakai is keeping busy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kennedy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Nakai. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nakai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kennedy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nakai. Nakai not doing much here.

Yuki Nakai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Kennedy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kennedy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nakai moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nakai shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nakai showed some decent athleticism there. Nakai is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kennedy sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Nakai sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kennedy is looking to control Nakai's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kennedy avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakai wants to take a breather but Kennedy is having none of it. Nakai is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kennedy defends it well. Kennedy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nakai is working away from the top position though. Nakai throwing shots but Kennedy is blocking nicely. Nakai is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Nakai seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kennedy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Still in half guard, Nakai seems content to control. Kennedy won't allow Nakai to pass to mount. Nakai is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Nakai working for a submission but Kennedy is keeping him at bay. Yuki Nakai is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

And that's the end of the fight! Yuki Nakai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nakai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
