Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Cornish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cornish comes to the ring accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls (Instrumental) by Metallica. Cody Pedro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Cornish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cody Pedro! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Cornish - just one landing. Cornish slips a straight right by Pedro. Cornish moves forwards but Pedro connects with a nice, crisp jab. Cornish lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pedro throws a lazy right hand but Cornish sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pedro misses with a looping left. The fighters circling - Pedro throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Pedro misses with a looping right. Pedro misses with a wild body shot. Pedro connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cornish momentarily.
Pedro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cornish circles away quickly and effectively. Pedro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pedro pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Pedro throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pedro takes one on the button. Cody Pedro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pedro misses with a left hand and Cornish decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pedro's guard. Cornish stands and throws Pedro's legs to the side, diving into side control. A lull in the action here. Cornish is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pedro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cornish advances to full mount. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cornish is landing with some decent strikes but Pedro is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Cornish connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Cornish working away from the top, dropping strikes. Cornish looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Cornish working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Pedro turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cornish off and cradles Pedro's limp body as Cornish celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jeremy Cornish!
