Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos comes into the arena with Pendulum - Tarantula blaring out of the sound system. Eduardo Santos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots for a takedown but Santos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Santos connects with a looping right hand.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Santos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jones dives in and grabs Santos 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Santos pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Eduardo Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sub Jones.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Santos as he jumps to the side.
Santos gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jones throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Jones gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santos seems to be looking for submissions.
Santos is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Santos seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.

Jones wants to get back to full guard but Santos has mounted him!

Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
