Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Perreia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sthawy Sthowp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perreia comes to the cage accompanied by Gimme Shelter. Sthowp is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blind Guardian - Into the Storn. Sthawy Sthowp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sthowp throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perreia avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sthowp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perreia.
Perreia uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sthowp.
Sthawy Sthowp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perreia displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sthowp throws out the jab.
Perreia with a poor takedown
and Sthowp cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Perreia takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sthowp lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Perreia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sthowp as he jumps to the side.
Sthowp tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Perreia was well out of range. Poor timing from Sthowp.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Perreia avoiding damage as Sthowp throws knees to the body.

Perreia struggles to land a body shot inside as Sthowp controls his hands.
Sthowp pulls guard effortlessly.
Perreia wants to control from the top but Sthowp keeps moving.
Perreia missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sthowp looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Perreia trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sthowp keeping moving, preventing Perreia from controlling successfully.
Perreia is fighting to break Sthowp's control of his arms but Sthowp is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Sthowp manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Perreia manages to get himself to full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Carlos Perreia wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Sthowp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Perreia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sthowp scores with the left hand. Perreia knows he should have avoided that one.
Perreia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sthowp tries to avoid it but Perreia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sthowp to the ground. Sthowp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sthowp cracks Perreia with an open hand slap.

Sthowp bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Perreia misses with a combination
and Sthowp counters with a straight right hand.
Perreia is breathing heavily.
Sthowp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perreia circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice uppercut there from Sthowp.
Perreia misses with a takedown
and Sthowp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sthowp lands with a cross.
Sthowp manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Perreia on his heels. He'll look to pass Perreia's guard now, I'm sure.

Sthowp is pushing down on Perreia's leg trying to pass to half guard. Perreia is fighting to maintain full guard but Sthowp has managed to sneak the leg through.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sthowp maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Perreia could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sthowp has cracked it and Perreia is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sthowp!
