Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kal Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aron Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kal Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aron Rogers! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Aron Rogers has been cut. The fight stays on the outside here - Penn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Penn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rogers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Penn pulls him back up using the underhooks. Penn avoids the elbow strike from Rogers, against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Penn blocks an elbow strike from Rogers.
Rogers stalling the fight.
Rogers drops down looking for an ankle pick but Penn pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rogers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rogers throws a strike but Penn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Rogers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Penn controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Rogers is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kal Penn. Rogers fails with a takedown attempt. Kal Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aron Rogers. Penn moves into the clinch successfully.
Penn tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Penn throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Penn lands a body shot. Rogers looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A battle for position here, against the cage. Rogers prevents a body shot from Penn. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rogers. Penn goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn lands a body punch. Penn lands a body punch. Penn gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rogers regains guard.
Penn controlling from the top position. Penn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Penn's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Penn throwing strikes from guard but Rogers blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Penn controls from within his opponent's guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Kal Penn wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Penn jabs at Rogers's body. Penn lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Penn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Penn uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kal Penn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Aron Rogers's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Penn jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
OH! Rogers has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Penn smells blood and charges in for the finish! Penn unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Rogers sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kal Penn!
