Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jyrska Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian SnedeKKer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velmu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is UFO - Doctor Doctor. Sebastian SnedeKKer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jyrska Velmu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sebastian SnedeKKer!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SnedeKKer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Velmu shoots in but SnedeKKer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
SnedeKKer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A big left from Velmu misses.
Velmu shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
SnedeKKer is trying to get back to full guard.
Velmu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so SnedeKKer is just riding it out for now. Velmu eventually gives up the hold.

SnedeKKer tries to get to full guard but Velmu has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
SnedeKKer has hold of Velmu's hands but Velmu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
SnedeKKer won't allow Velmu to pass to mount.
Velmu prevents SnedeKKer from improving his position.
Velmu wants to take a breather but SnedeKKer is having none of it.
Velmu is looking to advance position but SnedeKKer won't allow it.
SnedeKKer is staying active underneath Velmu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Velmu throwing shots but SnedeKKer is blocking nicely.
SnedeKKer won't allow Velmu to pass to mount.
Velmu is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and SnedeKKer reverses the position - he's now on top in Velmu's guard.
SnedeKKer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Velmu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of SnedeKKer, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Velmu wants to pass the guard but SnedeKKer is keeping the position.
Velmu postures up and lands a big shot to SnedeKKer's brow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
SnedeKKer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Velmu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. SnedeKKer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Velmu won't allow SnedeKKer to sweep him here.
SnedeKKer keeping moving, preventing Velmu from controlling successfully.
Velmu wants to pass the guard but SnedeKKer is keeping the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
SnedeKKer swinging wildly here.
Velmu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says SnedeKKer as he avoids it easily.
SnedeKKer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Velmu shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jyrska Velmu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
SnedeKKer clobbers Velmu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Velmu feints and as SnedeKKer raises his hands in defense, Velmu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
SnedeKKer has his foot on Velmu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Velmu works his way back into a safe position though.
Velmu stands and throws SnedeKKer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on SnedeKKer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

SnedeKKer sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Velmu is looking to take a break and control but SnedeKKer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Velmu moves into full mount! SnedeKKer won't be happy about that!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Velmu cracks SnedeKKer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Velmu looking to secure an arm triangle but SnedeKKer defends it well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Velmu lands a heavy elbow.
Velmu cracks SnedeKKer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
SnedeKKer tries to reverse the position but Velmu maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jyrska Velmu dominated that round.
That's time! Velmu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
SnedeKKer loads up on a big right hand but Velmu slips the punch.
Velmu slips a jab and a cross from SnedeKKer.
Velmu shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Velmu lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
SnedeKKer is rocked!

Velmu is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, SnedeKKer is hurt! He's hurt bad - Velmu fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save SnedeKKer from any more punishment! Congratulations to Velmu! Great finish!

A less than humble Jyrska Velmu misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
