Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Kendray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davies has chosen Still D.R.E as his entrance music. Danny Kendray had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Danny Kendray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendray closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Davies quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kendray is thwarting Davies's attempts to control the position.
Kendray is just content to waste time from the top position. Davies takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kendray avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davies working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kendray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Davies is tightening it up a little... Kendray has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kendray reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kendray taps out! Nice BJJ there by Davies!
