The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson misses with a hook
and Fatovic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fatovic lands a left and a right that send Sanderson crashing to the mat, dazed. Fatovic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Chad Sanderson has been cut.
Sanderson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sanderson throws a big shot that misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fatovic avoids the head kick by Sanderson.
Fatovic on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sanderson. Sanderson obviously looking to wear him down.
Fatovic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fatovic throws a right hand that Sanderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanderson also avoids with ease.
Fatovic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Oooooh!!! Fatovic has knocked Sanderson down with a huge combo! Fatovic steps away and waves a wobbly Sanderson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sanderson is rocked!
Sanderson throws a head kick that half lands.
Oh Sanderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No joy there for Fatovic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sanderson pushes Fatovic up against the cage in a clinch.
Sanderson seems to have got his legs back now.
Fatovic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sanderson's efforts to push away.
Sanderson tries to break the clinch but Fatovic is controlling the position.

Sanderson tries to circle away but Fatovic has him pinned against the cage.
Fatovic keeps control of Sanderson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Fatovic jumps guard but Sanderson stands there with Fatovic around his waist. Fatovic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sanderson tries to circle away but Fatovic has him pinned against the cage.

Sanderson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Sanderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fatovic fails to land with a series of punches.
Sanderson thows a body kick. Fatovic tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Sanderson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Fatovic can't break the clinch.
Sanderson prevents Fatovic from breaking the clinch.

Sanderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
