Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sazh Blaskey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miyamoto Usagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sazh Blaskey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miyamoto Usagi! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Usagi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blaskey tries to avoid it but Usagi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blaskey to the ground. Blaskey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Blaskey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Usagi throws out the jab. The fight stays on the outside here - Usagi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Usagi on the wrong end of a nice hook. Blaskey throws an overhand right that lands on Usagi's shoulder, as Usagi tries to avoid the shot. Usagi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sazh Blaskey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Usagi misses with a lunging right hand
and Blaskey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Blaskey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Blaskey misses with a looping right. Blaskey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Usagi tries to clinch up and Blaskey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blaskey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Usagi. A left and a right from Blaskey both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Miyamoto Usagi has been cut. Usagi closes the distance but Blaskey moves to the side and Blaskey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Usagi. Blaskey with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Usagi to score with a decent uppercut. Blaskey takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Blaskey.
Usagi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blaskey moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sazh Blaskey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Usagi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Blaskey to the ground. Usagi is now in Blaskey's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Blaskey controls Usagi momentarily but Usagi frees himself. Usagi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Usagi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Usagi looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Usagi trying to control the position from guard on top but Blaskey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blaskey is trying to keep Usagi in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Usagi looking to pass the guard. Blaskey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Usagi! Blaskey looking to finish with strikes here!
Usagi tries to hold on but Blaskey postures up. Blaskey scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Usagi?
Blaskey pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Blaskey cracks Usagi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Usagi is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Usagi tries to reverse the position but Blaskey maintains control. Usagi is still in real trouble! Can Blaskey finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Usagi holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Blaskey tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Usagi seems to have recovered his senses. Usagi wants to control but Blaskey is having none of it. Usagi really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Blaskey unloading with bombs! Blaskey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Blaskey raining down shots from the mount! Usagi is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Usagi is squirming around, avoiding Blaskey's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sazh Blaskey dominated that round. The cut man is working on Miyamoto Usagi's cut. That's time! Blaskey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Blaskey cracks Usagi with a right hand to the side of the head. Blaskey misses with a double jab
enabling Usagi to counter with a crisp jab. Blaskey misses with a wild body shot. Blaskey throws an overhand right that lands on Usagi's shoulder, as Usagi tries to avoid the shot. Blaskey walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Usagi misses with a hook. Blaskey ducked under it nicely. Usagi closes the distance looking to clinch and Blaskey counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Usagi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Blaskey throws out the jab. Usagi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blaskey.
Blaskey looks to land a combination but Usagi avoids it well. Nice defenses there by Usagi. Usagi misses with a two punch combination.
Usagi takes one on the button. Blaskey throws a body punch but Usagi moves out of range. Blaskey looks to land a right hand but Usagi moved out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blaskey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Blaskey throws out a loose jab but Usagi uses good head movement to avoid it. Usagi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blaskey as he jumps to the side. Blaskey jabs at Usagi's body. Blaskey misses with a left hand enabling Usagi to counter with a crisp jab. No joy there for Blaskey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Blaskey is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blaskey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Usagi avoids the body shot from Blaskey.
Usagi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Blaskey quickly recovers to half guard. Blaskey is trying is best to control the position here. Blaskey slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Usagi with a flurry of punches that miss. Blaskey looking to control.
Blaskey wants to sweep here but Usagi controlling him for the moment. Usagi trying to control the position from guard on top but Blaskey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Usagi wants to pass the guard but Blaskey is keeping the position. Usagi forces his way into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blaskey manages to get to full guard.
Usagi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Usagi throws a strike but Blaskey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blaskey looking to sit in guard and control but Usagi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sazh Blaskey dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Miyamoto Usagi's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Usagi misses with an uppercut. Blaskey saw that one coming. A jab from Blaskey misses. Blaskey throws a jab but it's blocked by Usagi. Usagi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blaskey is trying to defend but Usagi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Usagi is trying to control the action in half guard but Blaskey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Usagi seems to be looking for submissions.

Blaskey is looking for a sweep. Usagi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Usagi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blaskey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Usagi. Usagi works his foot free and advances to mount. Blaskey is squirming around, avoiding Usagi's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Usagi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Usagi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Blaskey stops Usagi from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Blaskey is wriggling around trying to escape.
Blaskey is working hard here to advance position. Usagi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Blaskey is now in Usagi's guard. A big mistake from Usagi there, giving up the dominant position! Sazh Blaskey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blaskey slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Blaskey trying to control but Usagi is working from the bottom. Sazh Blaskey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Blaskey lands a jab to the nose. Usagi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Blaskey stuns Usagi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A combination from Blaskey does no damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blaskey stuffs the takedown attempt from Usagi. Usagi gets slowly back to his feet. Usagi slips a jab from Blaskey. Blaskey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Usagi dodges the punch combination from Blaskey.
Usagi throws a nice looking combination but Blaskey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Usagi dodges the punch combination from Blaskey.
Miyamoto Usagi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Usagi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Miyamoto Usagi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Blaskey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
