Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erkki Esinahka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shizzle Mynizzle!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mynizzle stuffs the takedown.
Mynizzle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Esinahka can't escape the position.
Mynizzle should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mynizzle trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mynizzle fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mynizzle is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Esinahka is surviving well by controlling Mynizzle's body position as best he can.
Mynizzle wants to finish this one by submission but Esinahka is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mynizzle.
Esinahka is wriggling around trying to escape.
Mynizzle stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Esinahka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
so Mynizzle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mynizzle preventing the sweep.

Esinahka is looking for a triangle but Mynizzle pushes his legs off easily.
Esinahka is breathing heavily.
Mynizzle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Esinahka's guard.
Esinahka wants to improve his position but Mynizzle is controlling well.
Mynizzle stands up from half guard.
Esinahka misses with a takedown attempt
and Mynizzle counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erkki Esinahka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mynizzle seems to be looking for submissions.
Esinahka moves into full guard.
Esinahka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mynizzle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Esinahka is looking for a triangle but Mynizzle pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Esinahka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Esinahka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Esinahka had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mynizzle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Esinahka Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mynizzle's back instead.
Esinahka has got his arm under Mynizzle's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Mynizzle has spun round into Esinahka's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Esinahka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mynizzle landing some decent shots from guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Esinahka is on top in guard.
Esinahka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mynizzle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Esinahka works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Esinahka moves into full mount! Mynizzle won't be happy about that!
Esinahka looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Esinahka working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Mynizzle looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Esinahka! Submission of the night perhaps?
