And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn tests Freeman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Freeman fails to land the takedown.
Penn connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Gordon Freeman has been cut.
Penn lands with a thumping leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Penn.
Penn throws a head kick that misses.
Freeman on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Penn clobbers Freeman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Penn misses with a two punch combination.
Forrest Penn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Penn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Freeman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Penn.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Penn thumps Freeman with a low kick.
Freeman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Penn connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Freeman scrambles back to his feet.
Freeman slips a straight right by Penn.
Penn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Freeman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Penn cracks Freeman with a right hand to the side of the head.

That has opened up Gordon Freeman's cut even more.
Penn thows a body kick. Freeman tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Freeman looks gassed!
Penn lands with an overhand left.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Penn lands a big uppercut and Freeman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Freeman looks OK. Penn waves Freeman back to his feet!

Freeman is rocked!
Penn lands an uppercut, right on the button! Freeman tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Forrest Penn!
