Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, No Chance!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matinheimo gets a clinch.
Matinheimo has picked Chance up - he's going for a ride! Matinheimo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Chance is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Chance is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Chance makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chance.
Matinheimo with a nice head shot there.
Matinheimo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Chance has his foot on Matinheimo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Matinheimo works his way back into a safe position though.

Chance escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Matinheimo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chance is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chance looking for a sweep. Not yet Chance, not yet.
Matinheimo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Chance has momentary wrist control but Matinheimo slips an elbow through the middle.

Matinheimo wants to control from the top but Chance keeps moving.
Matinheimo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Matinheimo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Chance is trying to get back to full guard.
Matinheimo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chance wants to improve his position but Matinheimo is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Matinheimo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Chance tries to get to full guard but Matinheimo has control of the leg.

Chance is looking for a sweep. Matinheimo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chance actively working from the bottom here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matinheimo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Chance is trying to get back to full guard.

Matinheimo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Chance makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chance.
Chance is looking for a triangle but Matinheimo pushes his legs off easily.
Matinheimo controlling from the top position.
Matinheimo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Chance has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Matinheimo is looking to defend but Chance has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Matinheimo! Chance pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Matinheimo taps out and this one is all over!
