Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julli Pulli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulli comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West - Amazing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Julli Pulli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mauricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulli is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rua.
Nice takedown defense from Rua. No joy for Pulli on that attempt.
Rua moves away from the strike by Pulli.
Rua misses with an uppercut.
Pulli misses with a hook. Rua ducked under it nicely.
Rua bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pulli's head.
Pulli just misses with a punch to the body.
Rua bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rua ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rua stuffs the takedown attempt from Pulli. Pulli gets slowly back to his feet.
Pulli lands a really nice looking cross but Rua seems unphased.
Rua shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Rua seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pulli's head.
Rua missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rua not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Pulli on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Pulli is trying to get back to full guard.
Rua passes the guard and advances to mount!
Rua prevents Pulli from getting the reversal.

Rua unloading with bombs!
BOOM! Rua connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Rua putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Pulli is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rua loads up with a big shot that hurts Pulli! He's pulled Rua in close but Rua has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Pulli survive? More strikes from Rua and Pulli is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mauricio Rua!
A less than humble Mauricio Rua misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
