Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alikai Drustav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt is looking to clinch.

Hurt gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Drustav to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Drustav postures up in Hurt's guard and throws a big left but Hurt blocks it.
Drustav wants to control from the top but Hurt keeps moving.
Drustav will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Drustav drops back looking for a leg! Hurt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hurt manages to kick Drustav off! Drustav jumps back into Hurt's guard.

Drustav working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Drustav stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hurt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drustav drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drustav jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Drustav passes Hurt's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Well, if Drustav is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Drustav is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hurt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Drustav.

Drustav working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hurt turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Drustav off and cradles Hurt's limp body as Drustav celebrates with his corner.
