Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Spotwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Electric Dream Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerry Spotwood has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dream Machine is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Electric Dream Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Spotwood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Spotwood is looking for a kimura but Dream Machine is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Spotwood to get the leverage.
Spotwood content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Dream Machine on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Spotwood tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dream Machine knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Spotwood frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Spotwood goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dream Machine is on top in guard.

Spotwood working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dream Machine doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dream Machine manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Spotwood is breathing heavily.

Dream Machine is pushing down on Spotwood's leg trying to pass to half guard. Spotwood is fighting to maintain full guard but Dream Machine has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dream Machine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Spotwood's guard.

Spotwood has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dream Machine is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Spotwood.

Spotwood is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dream Machine is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Spotwood is trying to reverse the position but instead Dream Machine has taken his back - oops!
Dream Machine is trying to stick to Spotwood's back but Spotwood is turning into Dream Machine. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dream Machine's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Spotwood.

Spotwood drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Spotwood seems to have locked his on tight now - Dream Machine screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Spotwood, as he picks up the win!
