The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donatello misses with a body shot.

Donatello has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Brown escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Brown!

Donatello manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Donatello has a hand on Brown's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Brown takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Brown lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Donatello hang on?
Brown avoids the attempt from Donatello to control.
Donatello is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Brown tries to control but Donatello wriggling away.
Brown lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Furijima Donatello has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Donatello tries to reverse the position but Brown maintains control.
Donatello is in a horrible position here. Brown smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Donatello is desperately trying to improve his position but Brown has a good base and remains in mount.
Donatello sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown prevents Donatello from improving his position.

Brown thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Donatello on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Brown is pressing down on Donatello's thigh, looking to free his foot. Donatello is holding on for now.
Donatello is trying to control but Brown manages to pass to mount!

Brown is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Brown extends the arm and Donatello is forced to tap!
