The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsumoto fails with the takedown
and Kaimuay counters with a big head kick but Matsumoto shrugs it off.
Matsumoto closes the distance and clinches up with Kaimuay, looking for a takedown. Matsumoto pushes Kaimuay against the cage but Kaimuay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matsumoto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kaimuay counters with a body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keima Matsumoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kaimuay fakes the leg kick and cracks Matsumoto in the body.
Kaimuay throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Matsumoto's head.
It looks like Keima Matsumoto has been cut.

Kaimuay lands a big head kick that sends Matsumoto tumbling to the mat! Kaimuay takes a step backwards and waves Matsumoto back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kaimuay throws a quick head kick that knocks Matsumoto silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Kaimuay is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
