Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keima Matsumoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sawk Kaimuay! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsumoto fails with the takedown and Kaimuay counters with a big head kick but Matsumoto shrugs it off. Matsumoto closes the distance and clinches up with Kaimuay, looking for a takedown. Matsumoto pushes Kaimuay against the cage but Kaimuay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Matsumoto doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kaimuay counters with a body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keima Matsumoto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaimuay fakes the leg kick and cracks Matsumoto in the body. Kaimuay throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Matsumoto's head.
It looks like Keima Matsumoto has been cut. Kaimuay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaimuay connects with a high kick. Matsumoto tries for a takedown but Kaimuay circles away easily and Kaimuay counters with a head kick. That will keep Matsumoto thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Sawk Kaimuay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Matsumoto is breathing heavily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Matsumoto. Kaimuay connects with an inside leg kick. A head kick misses from Kaimuay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Kaimuay. Matsumoto shoots and misses and Kaimuay counters with a head kick. Kaimuay plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matsumoto misses with a takedown attempt and Kaimuay counters with a nice body kick.

Oh Matsumoto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kaimuay - that will leave a mark!
Kaimuay lands a big head kick that sends Matsumoto tumbling to the mat! Kaimuay takes a step backwards and waves Matsumoto back to his feet - he wants the finish! Kaimuay throws a quick head kick that knocks Matsumoto silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Kaimuay is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sawk Kaimuay! After winning the bout, Sawk Kaimuay thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
