Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Sylosis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sylosis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jester. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylosis darts in trying to clinch
and Lopez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sylosis with a poor takedown
and Lopez counters with a straight right hand.
Sylosis swinging wildly here.
Lopez is looking to slow Sylosis down with leg kicks.
Lopez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sylosis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sylosis throws a nice looking combination but Lopez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lopez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lopez lands a head shot.
It looks like Brent Sylosis has been cut.
Sylosis looks gassed!
Lopez lands a big right hand that sends Sylosis crashing to the mat! Lopez stays standing though and waves Sylosis back to his feet!
Sylosis is rocked!
Sylosis throws a body kick the misses
and Lopez counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Sylosis badly! Lopez follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Sylosis out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Lopez finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luiz Lopez!
