The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Carter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Johnson. That did some damage!
Carter tries to land a leg kick but Johnson saw it coming and moves away.
Carter fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Carter. That's going to slow Johnson down.
A head kick misses from Carter.
Johnson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carter.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Johnson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carter counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Carter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Carter is looking to advance position but Johnson won't allow it.
Johnson looking for submissions off his back.

Carter looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Johnson is staying active underneath Carter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Johnson won't allow Carter to pass to mount.
Carter is looking for a kimura but Johnson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carter to get the leverage.
Carter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Carter seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Johnson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
