Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Bentham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Phife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bentham comes to the cage accompanied by Jester. The crowd seem to be enjoying Phife's choice of entrance music: Fernandinho - Mais Alto. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Barney Phife enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Barney Phife!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phife is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bentham is looking to clinch but Phife is avoiding it.
Bentham tries a head kick but it misses.
Phife lands a nice shot to the body.
Phife dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Phife paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bentham moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bentham walks into a left hand.
Phife fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big right from Phife misses.
Phife connects with a solid leg kick.
Phife uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bentham has time to react.
Phife bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Phife is looking to take a break and control but Bentham is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bentham parries the strikes from Phife easily there. Phife is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bentham to escape.
Phife working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Phife has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Phife is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Phife tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Phife has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Phife is chipping away with strikes.

Phife wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bentham, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bentham is not content to let Phife control the position.
Phife throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Bentham is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Phife is controlling him well.
Phife fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Phife in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Bentham dodges the ground and pound from Phife.

Phife postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bentham is breathing heavily.
Phife misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Phife takes a little break here. Bentham wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Phife throwing strikes but Bentham manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Phife sneaks back into half guard.
Phife manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Bentham has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Phife finds it's way round the side to connect with Bentham's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A nice leg kick lands there from Phife.
Bentham takes one to the side of the head.
Bentham tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Phife counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Good standup being displayed there by Phife as he connects with a hook.
Bentham takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barney Phife dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bentham takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bentham has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Phife feints a jab promting Bentham to slip. Phife then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bentham slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bentham is rocked!
Phife drops Bentham with a big left hand! Bentham is injured, injured bad! Phife jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barney Phife!
