Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Oguinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Travis Oguinn!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes dives in and grabs Oguinn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oguinn pushes down on Barnes's head and hops out.

Barnes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Oguinn to the mat! Oguinn manages to get full guard.
Barnes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Barnes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Oguinn works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Barnes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oguinn on the ground.

Oguinn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Barnes defends it easily.
Barnes stays in close to Oguinn's body and controls the position.

Barnes swings wildly with an uppercut but Oguinn uses good head movement to avoid it.

Oguinn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Oguinn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barnes tries a head kick but it misses.
Oguinn shoots in and drives through. Barnes sprawls well.
Jacob Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Oguinn.
