Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Itsik Obas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cantrell Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obas comes to the cage accompanied by Perfect Gentelman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis shoots in but Obas avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Obas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Obas blocks the body kick.
Willis misses the jab.
Obas pushes Willis away with a front kick.
Willis throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Obas moves into range and clinches up with Willis.
Obas trying to land knees to the body.
Obas comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Cantrell Willis has been cut.
The referee calls for Obas to work.
Obas tries to land knees in the clinch but Willis avoids the damage to the body.
Obas lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Obas gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Willis tries to throw a body punch but Obas avoids it by throwing Willis back against the cage.

Obas can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
The referee calls for Obas to work.
Obas is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Willis is defending well for now.
Willis has Obas pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Obas manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Itsik Obas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cantrell Willis.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cantrell Willis's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Willis lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Obas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Willis is working away from the top position though.
Willis is nestled in close to Obas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Obas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
