Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mo Skates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dima Lohkie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mo Skates! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dima Lohkie! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lohkie throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Skates shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lohkie as he jumps to the side. Skates fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Skates tries to clinch up but Lohkie circles away and keeps his distance. Lohkie throws a one two combo.
Lohkie clinches up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Lohkie's face as he tries to break the clinch. Skates stops a takedown attempt from Lohkie.
Skates tries to land knees in the clinch but Lohkie avoids the damage to the body. Skates drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lohkie pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Skates. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lohkie has Skates up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lohkie manages to break the clinch.
Lohkie gets a double leg takedown into Skates's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Skates keeping moving, preventing Lohkie from controlling successfully. Skates being controlled here, momentarily. Skates has a closed guard, preventing Lohkie from standing up. Skates trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lohkie controls from within his opponent's guard. Lohkie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dima Lohkie was stalling too much, according to the referee. Nice takedown defense from Lohkie. No joy for Skates on that attempt. Lohkie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Skates misses with a takedown attempt and Lohkie counters with a three punch combo that has Skates backing up. Skates nods at Lohkie to acknowledge the strikes. Lohkie lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Skates backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sloppy strikes from Skates. Those never looked like landing. Lohkie lands a two punch combo.
Skates throws a combination that misses letting Lohkie counter with a right hand. Lohkie has managed to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skates trying to control the position but instead, Lohkie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Skates into the cage. Skates working hard to break the clinch. Skates's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lohkie moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Skates tries to clinch up but Lohkie circles away and keeps his distance. Skates looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Skates is breathing heavily. Sloppy strikes from Skates. Those never looked like landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skates fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lohkie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Skates. Lohkie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Skates tries to clinch there but Lohkie circles away.
Lohkie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Skates is trying to defend but Lohkie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lohkie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dima Lohkie dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lohkie looks for a takedown but Skates sprawls well. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Skates is defended easily by Lohkie. Lohkie tries to bum rush Skates with a series of wild strikes but Skates uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mo Skates is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Skates has a takedown stuffed. Skates shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lohkie but Lohkie pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Skates. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lohkie fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Skates looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lohkie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lohkie moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Skates tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lohkie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lohkie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Skates. Skates tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lohkie swivels and escapes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Skates throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lohkie's waist but Lohkie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Skates off to one side. Skates is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lohkie. Skates takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lohkie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Skates takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Lohkie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Skates moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lohkie throws a combination. Skates tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skates avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Skates is defended easily by Lohkie. Skates misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Skates drives through and clinches with Lohkie against the cage.
Lohkie is trying to push Skates away but Skates has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lohkie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Skates fails with a takedown attempt from distance. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Skates. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Lohkie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lohkie sitting in guard, not really doing much. Skates wants to sweep here but Lohkie controlling him for the moment. Skates is pulling down on Lohkie's head to control his posture. Lohkie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skates. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lohkie is stalling in the full guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dima Lohkie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Nice uppercut there from Lohkie.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lohkie. Skates fails with a takedown attempt. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lohkie!
Left hook, right uppercut from Lohkie. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lohkie throws a shot to the body.
Lohkie is working the combinations to good effect here. The fight stays on the outside here - Skates looks like he's thinking about clinching though. This has been an exciting period of action! Skates shoots in for a takedown but Lohkie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dima Lohkie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Skates's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Lohkie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Skates tries to clinch but Lohkie is having none of it. Lohkie throws a series of punches but Skates moves out of range. No luck for Skates with that takedown attempt. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lohkie!

That's one minute gone in the round. Skates shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lohkie pinned against the cage. Lohkie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Skates. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Skates throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Lohkie looks to land a combination but Skates avoids it well. Lohkie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Skates circles away quickly and effectively. Lohkie has closed the distance and engaged Skates in a clinch.
Skates is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Lohkie is fighting off a takedown attempt but Skates is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lohkie to the mat. Lohkie regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lohkie is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Skates tries to free his leg and advance position but Lohkie is retaining full guard. Skates wants to control from the top but Lohkie keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mo Skates. Skates shoots in for a double leg but Lohkie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lohkie throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skates avoids a kick to the body.
Lohkie lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Skates takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Skates instigates a clinch. Lohkie tries to break free but Skates pushes him back against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Skates has Lohkie pressed against the cage, preventing Lohkie from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lohkie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Skates successfully pulls guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skates has his foot on Lohkie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lohkie works his way back into a safe position though. Lohkie showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Skates trying to control the position.
Dima Lohkie is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Lohkie wants to stand but Skates is controlling his posture from full guard. Skates looking for a guillotine here but Lohkie defends easily.
Mo Skates has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lohkie engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Dima Lohkie. Well Lohkie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
